1924-2002Nacido en Paris, de padres italianos, Albert Band trabajo en los estudios Pathe antes de ir a Hollywood a finales de los anos 40. En la Meca del Cine, aprende casi todo lo que hay que aprender de la mano de John Huston, con quien colaboro en La jungla de asfalto (The Asphalt Jungle, 1950) como ayudante de direccion, y en The Red Badge of Courage (1951) como guionista.
